Last night my eyes sparkled with teenage fire!!!

I finally saw The Runaways last night and I loved it!! The actor that played Kim Fowley was spot on. While I'm sure, like most bio-pics, not everything was 100% accurate, the actors did a great job, the wardrobe was amazing and the soundtrack was obviously awesome (Nick Gilder, The Stooges, David Bowie, etc.) I don't think they could've chosen anyone else better than Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning. They look almost identical to Joan and Cherie:



When I got home last night I did what most people did when they returned home from seeing this movie: YouTube'd Joan Jett and The Runaways all night. Dude, this video is seriously INCREDIBLE!!!

The Runaways movie gets a release date. I wait patiently.

Finally!!! After months and months of wondering when this movie will hit theaters... the release date is March 19. YES! In related news, Jezebel talked about the movie today, too.

I'm really excited for the Runaways movie, especially since it's backed by Joan Jett... I'm pretty sure she's on the set all the time. And I think I've even seen pictures of Kim Fowley on the set as well. This makes me believe that the storyline will be pretty close to reality. I found this video online of some paparazzi pictures while the movie is being filmed and still can't get over how much Kristen Stewart looks like Joan Jett:
