Ronnie Spector has been talking about a new album for literally years. I just got an email alert saying the record, The Last of the Rock Stars, has finally been released as of today. Featuring contributions from Nick Zinner from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Patti Smith, Patrick Keeler from the Raconteurs, Jack Lawrence from The Dead Weather and Keith Richards. Ehhhhhhh nice. Looks like she's going on tour too! So if you live in these areas, do yourself a giant favor and SEE HER LIVE. I saw her play at the House of Blues in LA about 6 years ago and it brought tears to my eyes, for reals. Oh, and Clem Burke was there but he was a total jagoff. Here are the tour dates:
