The B-52's called...
I forgot all about this fun single by New York-based new wave band The Cosmopolitans. The girls in this band used to go-go dance for The dB's and The Fleshtones! Mitch Easter, who produced REM's early (and best) work, actually plays guitar and drums on this record. To my surprise the band had a music video for this tune and while it's pretty corny, it's fun and silly (and if you like the B-52's you will love this band!!)

I know you are probably very busy but you should consider doing a podcast. I think it would be great to hear you play some great cuts off of some albums or Cd's and comment on them as well. I always enjoy your hilarious posts and getting turned on to some music I haven't listened to yet or listening to some music I've totally forgotten about. Just sayin'.
ReplyDeleteOhhh that would be FUN! How do I go about doing this? I'm kind of a ding-dong when it comes to computer stuff...
ReplyDeleteQuicktime pro would probably be the easiest way to go if you have a camera with a mic on your pc or laptop. I would also suggest the iMic from Griffin. I believe it has both a line in and a mic in. Here's a link to the iMic.
